Q: How do I insert my company logo onto invoices?
A:  To insert your company logo onto invoices, sales orders and estimates follow steps below:

Before proceding, transfer your logo to your Android device in .jpg, .png, or .bmp.  You may also email your logo to your device as an
attachment and save the file to your device.

1. Open bMobile NOW application.
2. From the NOW main screen, select Android  Main Menu button (location will vary by model).
3. Select “Settings”
4. Select “Company Information”
5. Scroll to bottom of screen and locate logo box.
6.Press and hold "Press to choose logo”. Select Logo option will appear.
7. Select your logo from your Android Gallery or Files.

Q:  How do I email invoices?
A:  The ability to email invoices is only available in Pro. NOW allows you to set a default email address for each customer as well as one for your internal use. To set the default email address for a customer, please follow the steps listed below:

1. Open the bMobile NOW application.
2. Select Customers and choose customer.
3. Select Android Main Menu button and select "Edit Customer".
4. Scroll to screen bottom and enter email address in box provided.
5.  Check the "Send Email" box to activate the auto email function.
6. Select the "Save" in upper right corner.

4A. Select "CC Me" is to have a copy of the email sent to the address entered.
5A. You may select the Email client from this screen or at time of emailing.

Q: Can I capture the signature for a customer?
A:  The ability to capture a customer signature will be added in the very near future in the Pro and QB Versions only.

Q:  Am I able to change the invoice sequence?
A:  Yes you are able to change the invoice sequence #’s.  Please follow the steps listed below:
1. Open the bMobile NOW application. From the main screen, press the Main Menu button (usually the lower left button on your Android device though this may vary by model)
2. Select Settings
3. Click on the option “Last Invoice #”
4. Enter the starting value you desire

Q: Can I set decimal quantities less than 1?
A:  Yes you can set the decimals for quantities less than 1.  Please follow the steps listed below:
1. Open the bMobile NOW application. From the main screen, press the Main Menu button (usually the lower left button on your Android device though this may vary by model)
2. Select Settings
3. Click on the option “Decimal Places in Quantity”
4. Enter the value you desire

Q:  Can I process returns?
A:  Yes you are able to process returns.  Please follow the steps below:

1. Create an invoice
2. From the add inventory screen, select the item to be returned and click the red minus symbol until the quantity becomes negative.

Q:  Can sales items and return items be shown on the same invoice?
A:  No, returns and sales items cannot be in the same invoice.  A separate invoice must be created to process returns.

Q:  Can I clear all my orders?
A:  Yes you can clear all of your order.  Please follow the steps below:
1. Open the bMobile NOW application. From the main screen, press the Main Menu button (usually the lower left button on your Android device though this may vary by model)
2. Select Settings
3. Select Clear Invoices

Q: How do I delete or void an order?
A: You can only delete.  A void keeps makes record of the order and sends it to QB as a voided order.  Deleted order makes it as though the order never existed and does not send to QB.  Please follow the steps below:

1. From main menu
2. Select Orders
3. Select order to be deleted
4. Press menu button and select delete

Q: Can I set sales tax by customer?
A: If you are integrated to QuickB,ooks the sales tax % is editable only within QuickBooks. All tax settings are provided to NOW from QB.

If you are not integrated to QB, NOW allows you to set whether or not each customer is taxable and the tax rate for each product.

Q: Does NOW require a constant Internet connection?
A: No. NOW will work without an Internet connection.  NOW is actually installed on your Android device and allows full functionality without internet connectivity. Data is saved on your device (SD card) until it is synchronized with QB via Intuit Workplace App Center.

Q:  Can I add customers from my phone contacts?
A:  You may manually enter new customers into the NOW customer list,or you may import  contacts from your Android contact list into NOW. All the imported contacts will be listed as 'Customers'.
Customers from your QuickBooks database will be automatically synced with the NOW data base during the synch process.

Q:  Is there demo data that I can us for testing?
A:  Yes there is a demo database that can be used for testing importing and exporting into QB.  Please follow the steps below:
1. From main menu select Settings
2. Scroll down and select Import demo data
3. Please note: When you import the demo data, all existing data will be permanently deleted.

Q:  Am I able to clear the entire database if I want to start over?
A:  Yes you are able clear an entire database.  Please follow the steps below:
1. From Main menu select Settings
2. Scroll and select Initialize Database
3. Please note: This will clear all data in the database

Q: How does NOW connect to my desktop version of QuickBooks?
A: NOW connects to your secure account on the Intuit Workplace App Center on the internet.  Your QuickBooks desktop software also connects to the App Center account.

Both applications exchange data with that site. This data exchange, or “synchronization”, process is manually launched as needed by the mobile user. The desktop user may sync manually or use the automatic updating feature of the App Center

Q: Do I need an SD card in my Android device to use NOW?
A: YES. While the application will run without an SD card present, many functions are limited without an SD card, which is used for data storage. An SD card 512mb or larger is recommended.

Q: Which versions of Android are supported by NOW?
A: NOW currently supports Android versions 2.1 and later.
